I'd probably sell your sweet machine (and it does seem like a fantastic ride) and put the money towards a 93 or 94 TT. Half the fun of owning these cars is doing all of the upgrades, step by little step, and it seems like you've pretty much taken your car to the limit. Oh, as for the price, never take the first offer. If he offered $15k unprompted, he'll probably pay $16-17K if you demonstrate the cost of your improvements (i.e. stereo, body kit, etc.). Keep in mind, an extra $1-1.5K isn't going to mean anything to him if he really likes your ride (let him test drive it, hear the stereo, to get him hooked), but that same $1.5K on top will get your new TT to stage III right out the door :-)
